Dior Homme the menswear division of Christian Dior. The menswear label, which has been lead by Hedi Slimane since 2001 for seven years. The fashion rebel Slimane has brought the fashion industry skinny handpicked teen models, wearing characteristic slim silhouettes. The Slimane look was razor-sharp Parisian tailoring, with a rock-star grime, overload of male sex with a dark edge. In 2007, Slimane and LVMH part their ways as result of tension between the two parties. Kris Van Assche, the former assistant of Slimane, was appointed as the head of Diot Homme. Van Assche, who is a Belgian fashion designer, who re-lead the label back to its traditional look.
